Hot yoga enthusiasts agree: infrared panels truly heat things up.

Dům jógy Prague, branch Anděl

Dům jógy Prague offers around 30 different yoga classes, including hot yoga.
To boost the benefits of the practice and support detoxification through sweat, hot yoga takes place in a room heated to 38–42 °C. Keeping the temperature that high can be both technically challenging and costly—especially during the winter months.
Compared to the previous setup, Namiwell infrared panels heat the space to the desired temperature faster and more efficiently.

Even heat distribution between the floor and ceiling helps prevent moisture buildup and mold—crucial in a space that hosts up to 40 classes each week. In yoga, where the focus is on mindful, uninterrupted movement, a quiet environment is key. “Namiwell infrared panels are completely silent—there’s no background noise during classes, which makes a big difference. Both instructors and students find the heat truly intense. We’ve also noticed that even after airing out the room, the walls retain warmth, allowing the space to reheat quickly. We don’t have precise data on energy use, but our electricity costs haven’t gone up, even after our favorable rate expired last year,” says Pavla Křečanová from Dům jógy.

Namiwell infrared panels clearly outperform other heating options, many of which require high upfront investment, have costly maintenance, or carry environmental downsides. With our advanced technology and expertise, Namiwell offers significantly better efficiency than conventional infrared panels—ultimately delivering major savings,” adds Miroslav Odložilík, CEO of Namitech.

Sun-like warmth

Previously, the yoga studios in Prague relied on electric boilers, hot air systems, and—during the winter—boosted their central radiator heating with additional electric heaters. Namiwell infrared panels, by contrast, operate much like the sun’s warmth. They emit radiant heat that warms the walls, furniture, and people in the room, who then release that warmth back into the space—just as the sun heats the earth, objects, and living beings. An added benefit: the system doesn’t circulate dust or allergens.

The Anděl studio was the second location to adopt this solution, following the success of the initial installation at the Vinohrady hot yoga hall. In the 72-square-meter space, 11 infrared panels were installed, delivering a combined power input of over 15 kW.

“This setup delivers unusually high output due to the need to maintain temperatures above 40 °C—at least five times more than in typical applications. For us, it’s yet another strong proof that infrared heating is highly effective,” says Miroslav Odložilík.

Elegant and adaptable heating for any space

Developed and manufactured in the Czech Republic in collaboration with Namitech and MECAWEL, Namiwell infrared panels feature a refined, minimalist glass design. Their clean aesthetic and efficient functionality make them ideal for a wide variety of settings—from homes and offices to commercial spaces and even historic landmarks like castles and churches. Their versatility is reflected in installations ranging from the 1930s-era Olgoj Chorchoj art studio to the visitor center in Nelahozeves.

Powered solely by electricity, Namiwell panels offer an eco-friendly heating solution that helps reduce users’ carbon footprints.
