Example

Let’s consider a low-energy newly constructed family home. The living area will be 120 m2 and will consist of 5 individually heated rooms: a combined living room and kitchen spanning 45 m2, two bedrooms each measuring 25m2, a 10m2 bathroom, and a 15 m2 playroom. The ceiling height throughout the house will be 2,50 meters.

Our heating specialist has proposed a configuration comprising a total of 6 panels. These panels include three NW3 units, two NW2 units, and one NW1 unit.

One NW3 and one NW2 are designated for the living room with kitchen, one NW3 for each bedroom, while the NW1 is intended for the bathroom, and another NW2 is allocated for the playroom.

Calorific value calculations serve as general guidelines. The design of a specific heating system considers the unique conditions of the building.

Functionality.

Learn how the panels operate and how to maximize their benefits.

Radiant heating

Infrared panels emit infrared radiation, which is absorbed by objects and surfaces in the room. These objects then release heat gradually, warming the surrounding air and creating a comfortable environment, find out more about the Benefits of namiwell heating panels.

Where to install the panels?

They should be mounted on ceilings or walls from where they can evenly distribute heat across the room. Avoid installing them near windows, doors, or air vents, as this may affect their efficiency.

Ensure adequate spacing between panels and objects within the room, allowing the infrared waves to move freely throughout the heated zone.

Place the panels evenly across the room, avoid overlapping heating zones or inadequate coverage.

Despite its weak electromagnetic field, we recommend maintaining a minimum distance of 1 meter between the panel and the area where you frequently spend your time.

How to use the panels?

The heating panels can serve as both a primary heating system as well as supplemental source of heat. If you wish to gradually transition from your existing heating system and assess the advantages of infrared heating panels, you can opt for a phased installation process, starting with rooms where rapid and healthy heat is most desired.

Using smart thermostats, you can establish heating zones within your residence, and customize temperatures and heating schedules for each zone.

Frequently, it’s more enjoyable and economical to keep the building heated to a minimum temperature rather than heating it each time over again. As initially, the heat accumulates in the building materials and objects within the room.

The best approach depends on your specific circumstances and priorities. You may experiment with different strategies to find the most comfortable and energy-efficient solution for your space.

How to set and control the temperature using namiwell heating panels?

There are several methods, how you can effectively control the temperature with namiwell heating panels:

  1. You can plug the panel into the socket and turn it off again when the temperature in the room is comfortable.
  2. Heating power can also be adjusted manually on each panel separately.
  3. By linking the panels to a room thermostat, it will handle the regulation automatically for you.
  4. For optimal comfort and control, consider integrating the heating panel into your smart home or smart thermostat system using our Wi-Fi module and web application.

Easy installation and usage.

It can be as easy as plugging in a lamp or as sophisticated as installing a new smart lighting system.

All you need is electricity. In addition, a qualified electrician will install the panels and connect them to the power supply, ensuring compliance with manufacturer's instructions, local building and safety standards.

  • You have the option to purchase heating panels with a direct connection to the socket. However, we recommend built-in panels connected to a separate circuit because of their superior design and enhanced functionality.
  • Namiwell heating panels come in two segments, suitable for either single-phase (230V) or three-phase (400V) power system. For optimal panel performance, we suggest using heating panels equipped with DALYN Technology™ designed for three-phase (400V) system. This solution requires a power circuit exclusively designated for the heating panels’ use.
  • For better temperature control and regulation, we suggest integrating the panels with a room thermostat. For even greater comfort, consider applying a smart home system – this enables remote control of the panels via your mobile phone and allows you to schedule heating output accordingly. Our Wi-Fi module or a compatible smart thermostat facilitates this connection.

The rest is easy, just clean the panels once a week to remove dust and debris that can affect performance. Inspect for any signs of damage or wear, monitor energy consumption and panel performance to ensure they are working properly. And enjoy more heat for less.
