Reliable comfort: Namiwell panels shine in the Olgoj Chorchoj studio

Consistent Comfort in Even the Most Demanding Spaces

The Olgoj Chorchoj art studio, founded by designers Michal Froňek and Jan Němeček, had long struggled to keep its space properly heated. Originally built in 1930 as a sculptor’s studio in the functionalist style, the building poses a significant challenge when it comes to heating. This summer, the studio turned to an innovative solution—Namiwell infrared panels.

The building’s lack of insulation and a dominant glass window—acting as a major thermal bridge—leads to considerable heat loss.
Adding to the challenge, the studio is a freestanding, exposed structure situated near the river on Libeň Island. With a floor area of 160 m², ceilings reaching six meters high, and a five-meter glass façade, traditional radiators simply couldn’t provide effective heating.

“Keeping our studio warm has always been difficult. The large glass window results in substantial heat loss, and the tall ceilings meant we had to use electric heaters intensively every winter,” says Jan Němeček. Looking for a better solution, the owners consulted the experts at Namitech. They recommended a tailored setup with Namiwell radiant panels. The advantages of the technology—combined with simple installation—won them over, and the system was installed the following month.

The Benefits of Radiant Heat in Challenging Conditions

Namiwell infrared panels feature patented DALYN Technology™, enabling fast heat-up times and delivering average energy savings of 30%. They generate radiant heat that warms up walls, furniture, and people—who then release that warmth back into the room. This mimics the natural effect of the sun, which heats the ground, objects, and living beings. Infrared heating is commonly used not only in space heating and saunas, but also in medical rehabilitation and infant incubators. The even heat distribution also helps prevent moisture buildup and mold—key factors in maintaining a healthy indoor environment.

“The installation was fast, and we’ve been heating comfortably since October,” says Jan Němeček.
“The difference is striking—it’s pleasantly warm, and we’re expecting lower energy consumption. I’d say these infrared panels are being put to the test in our 1930s studio. And so far, they’re performing excellently.”

Elegant Design. Powerful Heating.

Infrared heating panels have become an increasingly popular choice in recent years.
They deliver even, consistent warmth without unnecessary energy loss, making them a smart, eco-conscious solution. Whether used as a standalone heating system or a supplementary source, infrared panels are easy to install, maintenance-free, and highly energy-efficient.

Developed and manufactured in the Czech Republic in collaboration with Namitech and MECAWEL, Namiwell infrared panels are distinguished by their sleek, minimalist design. They are ideal for a wide range of spaces—from private homes and offices to commercial interiors and heritage buildings like castles or churches. Their silent operation and integration with smart home systems provide both comfort and modern convenience.

Powered solely by electricity, Namiwell panels help users reduce their carbon footprint. Their patented DALYN Technology™ enhances heating performance while supporting environmental sustainability and helping to extend the life of the building itself.
